Description
The Transit Vehicle at Station/Stop Warnings service package informs nearby vehicles of the presence of a transit vehicle at a station or stop. The service package also indicates the intention of the transit vehicle in terms of pulling into or out of a station/stop. The transit vehicle also exchanges information with nearby Personal Information Devices so that travelers in the vicinity of the transit vehicle are aware of imminent transit vehicle movement and the vehicle driver is aware of nearby pedestrians and other vulnerable road users.
