Participates in the incident response, coordination, and reporting of the Statewide Mutual Aid and Incident Management Network in a coordination effort only (no dispatch function).
City of Austin and Travis CountyDispatch City of Austin and Travis County emergency vehicles with suggested route information and track the vehicles to the incident.
Coordinate incident response with other emergency dispatch agencies and the TxDOT Austin District TMC (CTECC) for incidents on State facilities.
Coordinate maintenance resources in response to incidents within Travis County.
Coordinate an incident response with regional rail operations for incidents involving rail.
Coordinate public safety resources for incident response with the City of Austin mobility management center (MMC).
Perform incident detection and verification for streets within Travis County.
Dispatch all City of Austin, Travis County, other municipality, and DPS vehicles to incidents within the region.
Operate the 911 center for the City of Austin and Travis County, with the ability to dispatch regional and statewide emergency services.
Participates in the incident response, coordination, and reporting of the Statewide Mutual Aid and Incident Management Network in a coordination effort only (no dispatch function).
