Freeway Management for Central Texas Regional ITS Architecture Roles and Responsibilities

Stakeholder	Role and Responsibility
CTRMA	Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with other regional TMCs.
	Operate network surveillance equipment (CCTV cameras, field sensors, etc.) on CTRMA toll roads.
	Provide traffic information to regional transportation agencies and the general public through traffic information devices (DMS, highway conditions reporting system (HCRS), etc.).
	Operate and collect tolls on CTRMA tolled facilities.
SH 130 Concession Company	Provide traffic information to regional transportation agencies and the general public through traffic information devices (DMS, highway conditions reporting system (HCRS), etc.).
	Operate and collect tolls on SH 130 toll road.
	Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with other regional TMCs.
	Dispatch HERO service patrol vehicles.
	Operate network surveillance equipment (CCTV cameras, field sensors, etc.) on SH130 toll road.
TxDOT Austin District	Operate and collect tolls on TxDOT tolled facilities.
	Provide route information to regional and statewide information service providers, including 511 and HCRS.
	Coordinate traffic information and traffic control with other regional TMCs and the statewide TMC.
	Operate active traffic management on State owned highways.
	Operate network surveillance equipment (CCTV cameras, field sensors, etc.) on State owned highways.
	Provide security monitoring of critical infrastructure for the State.
	Provide traffic information to regional transportation agencies and the general public through traffic information devices (DMS, highway conditions reporting system (HCRS), etc.).
