City of Austin Mobility Management Center (MMC). A traffic management center (TMC) located in the City of Austin that controls the traffic signal systems and other field equipment owned by the City of Austin Transportation Department. It communicates with ITS Roadway Equipment and Connected Vehicle Roadside Equipment (RSE) to monitor and manage traffic flow and monitor the condition of the roadway, surrounding environmental conditions, and field equipment status.
